Keysol CuBiotic is a solution of copper complexed with gluconic acid that can be used for fungi, algae, and bacterial disease control, particularly against fire blight.
Some functions of Cu in Keysol CuBiotic content:
- is particularly involved in photosynthesis as a component of ribulose-disphosphate carboxylase, while at respiration it is present as the copper enzyme cytochrome-c-oxidase, where its deficiency may reduce respiration rates.
- its presence affects the synthesis of phenol compounds which inhibit cell elongation. Cu intensifies oxidation of phenol compounds to chinons, wound healing and pigment formation.
- regulation of auxins (growth).
- effective in reproduction.
